MyroPay for everyone
We're committed to making financial services accessible to all users, regardless of ability or circumstance.
MyroPay is committed to ensuring our digital services are accessible to people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across our web, mobile, and API products. Accessibility is not a one-time project — it's an ongoing commitment embedded in our design and development process.
Our accessibility features
Full keyboard navigation
All features are accessible via keyboard. Skip-to-content links are provided on every page. Focus indicators remain visible throughout the experience.
Screen reader support
ARIA labels, roles, and landmarks are implemented throughout the platform. Tested regularly with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
Colour contrast
All text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text). High-contrast mode available in app settings.
Responsive & scalable
Works across all screen sizes from 320px to 4K displays. Text resizable to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
Reduced motion support
Respects the prefers-reduced-motion media query. All animations and transitions are disabled when users prefer reduced motion.
Clear typography
Legible sans-serif fonts with generous line spacing. Minimum 14px body text. Consistent heading hierarchy (H1–H6) across all pages.
Known limitations
We continuously work to improve accessibility. Areas currently being addressed:
- Some older PDF statements and reports may not be fully screen-reader accessible — we're rebuilding these as accessible HTML pages
- Complex data charts in the business analytics dashboard include text summaries, but interactive exploration via screen reader is limited — accessible chart navigation coming Q1 2026
- Live exchange rate tickers use
aria-live="off"to prevent screen reader overload — users can view rates on a dedicated page witharia-live="polite" - Some third-party integrations (embeds, iframes) may not fully meet our accessibility standards — we're working with partners to address this
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility. MyroPay is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We aim to reach full conformance by Q2 2026.
